Feed Hole is where you can dump all of your favorite rss feeds into one hole. This isn't just any feed reader, though.
Feed Hole remembers each story you've
Read while even letting you mark your own
Favorites. Better yet,
Feed Hole will spit out a new rss feed comprised of every story you've read, making it easy to share with your friends, family. co-workers and ex-girlfriends. It's like your own personal robot assistant logging everything you read throughout the day!
With our latest update, you can manage your giant group of Friends at last. Our new system allows you to see their latest Read posts, Favorited posts and even Comments easily amongst your own feeds.
Feed Hole is currently in Beta testing and is only available through invitation. If you are interested, feel free to email us through the contact form to the left.
Development Blog
Feed Hole is public!
Feed Hole is now open to everyone. The site is still Beta and will probably stay like that forever.
Feed Hole has been a good learning experience for me, but unfortunately I have many other priorities in my life right now. I have a full-time job, working on new side projects and thinking of new ideas. I do still have plans for Feed Hole, but it might involve a complete code rewrite or evolve into a completely new direction.
You can still email me if you have any questions or comments and I'll do my best to respond.
Thanks to my family and friends for helping and believing in me.

More speed!
Feed Hole is faster than ever. I can't believe how well it's doing. Almost everything is running really smoothly.
I also spent the last week or so basically rewriting all the javascript so that we could be 100% MooTools (http://www.mootools.net)! This should improve the client-side speed of the site and reduce the amount of memory usage of your web browsers.
yay!

Stability
As I'm sure all of you have noticed, Feed Hole was down for the last two weeks. Several problems arose with the server and it couldn't handle the stress of the site anymore. I rewrote A LOT of code which should improve the speed of the whole site. A huge thanks to my friend Peter who set up Feed Hole on a new server at Media Temple. He's a genius!
Faster server, faster code. I look forward to a more stable Feed Hole.

Invites are back up!
I finally got around to putting the invite system back up. Now go invite some friends so we can make this place a little more social!
You also may have noticed that I added a cool little line graph to your profiles. If you visit your friend's profiles you'll get a line graph comparison! Let the competitive reading begin.

Got some questions? Got some answers!
Hi Feed Holers. I'm really enjoying the new version of the site. It's really pulling people back in and making them (and me) want to come back.
I wanted address some issues, answer some questions and give you guys some feedback on what's happening right now.
FAQ
- How come I can't upload my icon?
- If you are having problems uploading your icon, then send us an email with the attached icon and we can do it for you. It should work perfectly, but it seems some of you are having problems and I can't track down the bug down.
- How come I can't view all my feeds on one page?
- I have disabled this feature temporarily because it would timeout some browsers. My script is a little clunky and will be optimizing it over the next couple days. I'll let you guys know when it's up again. If you really want to view all your feeds, you can still get to it by going to feedhole.com/feeds/
- My favorite feed hasn't updated yet! What's going on?!
- Currently, Feed Hole updates five feeds per minute. Two of those updates are given priority to the feeds with the most owners while the rest update the oldest feeds. Basically, the more owners of a feed there are the more likely it will update quicker. Feed torrenting! We're only one server right now, so if we ever expand we hope to never make you wait for your feeds to update.
- How do I put my feed in a new label?
- This may be slightly confusing at first, but easy as pie once you figure it out. You just drag the feed on top of one of your labels and it will "drop" into the label. We plan on giving you better visual understanding on how this works in the near future.
- I can only see the first few sentences of an article. Where's the rest?
- This is a problem that occurs from the publisher of a feed. Not all feeds provide full content. We realize that this could be annoying because you have to click two links before you can read the actual article. To resolve this, we are going to allow you to choose which feeds you want to always open in a new window.
- I have no idea how to use this site; Where's the help page?
- Sorry! It's coming soon.
BUGS & ISSUES
- The "Remember me" option isn't actually remembering! Sorry about that. This should be fixed soon.
- Some pages, like the Marked pages, take a while to load. We already have plans to upgrade the speed of these sections.
I'll be updating this post whenever necessary and migrating the FAQ into a new section, so keep your eyes peeled. Any other questions or problems? Let us know!
